The Baha’i Revelation unshackles humanity from past conceptions, liberates us all, and empowers us to think and act creatively. We are all the protagonists of our own change: we are called on to understand our reality and work with it. As Shadi has so artfully illustrated in this article, once we all see the love of God reflected in each other, we are attracted to one another, so we become as waves of one sea. As we love, then so we trust. Putting our trust in others as we accompany them is easy once we love each other. The time for imitation has gone: we are all called to investigate our own reality, and act in concert with each other to build the new reality. Heaven on earth will be built by everyone.

In a way it has always been like this. Historian Arnold Toynbee said that every civilization is created by a creative minority. Creative minorities (today’s leading edge of human evolution) find solutions to the challenges a civilization faces, while the great mass follow these solutions by imitation (mimesis).
