Hi Charles,
To add to Joyous’s comments, fat is the key! Carbs will increase your blood sugar, then insulin which stores the excess sugar as body fat. After this process you feel hungry in about an hour. Dietary fat does not increase blood sugar nor insulin. It provides much more sustained energy and a satiated feeling.
The other thing that helps me is to keep busy.
Love Miranda 🙂

Anything that isn’t purely happening in your mind is probably a result of what you ate before starting to Fast that day. From what I understand, carbohydrates and protein make you feel “full”, so more carbs or protein in the morning would lead to less hunger later.

Other days I feel like I have been fasting for 12 hours, but has been only 20 minutes. Why is my perception so varied?
