It was good because I had Bible verses and prophecies drilled into me, which helped when I heard about the Faith at 17. But I left that church at 14 after having done a thorough study of their teachings for a year. I decided their view of how prophecies were to be fulfilled did not make sense. I just didn’t think God would do things that way (and so far, I was right!). I’m still grateful I could realize this and even more grateful I could immediately use my mental faculties to understand the symbolism of those prophecies and how Bahá’u’lláh had fulfilled them!
