I was going to say something similar. Too many people ignore their hearts these days, preferring to let their minds accept nonsensical and negative thoughts, or as the Bahá’í Writings call them, “idle fancies and vain imaginings.” It can be very discouraging.

Animal emotions control everything. I am told this is because of human nature. I find human nature as I understand it in the Baha’i Writings and in indigenous cultures, but it has been exterminated in the dominant culture.
