Hi Mark, zero-point energy is a consequence of the uncertainty principle, that basically quantum oscillators must have a non-zero energy ground state. It’s actually the reason why there is non such thing as a ‘void’ or absolute rest both ideas, as you may know Abdu’l-Baha understood as well. Physicists think this is related to dark energy which drives the expansion of the universe. However the problem is that they are many orders of magnitude disagreement between the two calculated values. However I don’t think current physics understands if it is possible to extract usable energy from this. Hello, Vahid. What’s your opinion about “free energy,” also known as “zero-point energy”? This great invention would give us a limitless source of energy, and would practically wipe out all poverty on planet earth.
