I think you’re showing a natural human reaction to someone who is terribly unpleasant. After all, every religion teaches that we should love each other and treat each other as we would wish to be treated. I don’t think it’s prejudice to be upset when someone acts in such an ungodly manner. The test is how you will respond, of course. At least, it would certainly be a test for me.

That’s an excellent question, and a fascinating issue. If their behavior makes us dislike them as a person, rejecting everything about them, then maybe that is a prejudice. But if I can be disturbed, even repulsed, by their behavior or attitude, but still be open to them as a person, however flawed, then maybe I have gone beyond prejudice.

The important thing is to face reality and constantly strive to reduce our prejudices. Now here is one I am struggling with. If I am upset by people who spread hatred and division, am I prejudiced or am i practicing justice?
